Join the Bay Area Runner's Club
The Bay Area Runner's Club (BARC) is made up of runners and walkers from the mid-eastern counties of Michigan, mainly Bay, Midland and Saginaw Counties. BARC is a member of the Road Runners Club of America. BARC puts on or assists with over 30 race events each year. All of BARC's races are made up of runners and walkers of all fitness and experience levels.
Benefits of becoming a member include receiving a discount of $1 on at least 11 races; Reese Series (4 races), and pre-entry to the following; Freeze Your Fanny, Spirit of Winter, St Pats, Auburn Corn Stalk, Labor Day, Don Dansereau Memorial, and Annual Christmas Run and access to the club newsletter FOOTPRINTS. The membership also supports the club's web site where information is available online.
BARC also holds club meetings the 4th Monday of most months at 7 PM at the Bay Area Family YMCA. Annual meeting and elections are held each year at Christmas Run. Membership is good for 1 year from time of joining.
